Oil&Steel: technology and training for safety
For Oil&Steel, innovation has always had one priority: safety. The new Oil&Steel CPD, Control Plus Display, is the flagship of the new generation of Oil&Steel aerial platforms, ensuring total control of the machine at every moment of operation. This is just another piece in a broader project that, with cutting-edge electronics and continuous training from the Oil&Steel Academy, aims to raise operator awareness about safety and enable a more accurate and swift reading and interpretation of the machine’s signals, messages, and information. The CPD, soon to be equipped on all Oil&Steel models, features an intuitive interface and simple interaction, allowing the operator complete control of every activity, both with the tower display and on the radio control. The graphics are clear and easily displayed, showing all the data necessary to operate in absolute safety and ease of use: chassis, active area, limitation percentage and inclination relative to the ground, load capacity, and also giving the operator active control of every single stabiliser. The display also indicates manoeuvres that have been automatically blocked by the system for safety reasons. The use of a QR code allows access to a tutorial for emergency descent and reading of fault codes. With Oil&Steel’s innovations and training, working at height is easier and safer.
