Record Order of 200+ units for Oil & Steel
Oil&Steel closes 2021 by signing an agreement for a tender of over 200 units. The client, a major utility company, chose to rely on Oil&Steel aerial platforms for its assistance network.

The fleet of Oil&Steel truck-mounted aerial platforms consisting of Snake 147 mounted on Ford Ranger (4×4), Scorpion 17E on Iveco ML90 and Scorpion 15E on Iveco ML110W (4×4), will be employed by the client company to carry out ordinary and extraordinary maintenance operations on the entire network of the national territory. The investment will allow operators to act even in the areas of difficult access, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety standards. Delivery of the vehicles will take place starting from the second half of 2022.
Oil&Steel, which has always paid close attention to the training and safety aspects of those who work on the platforms, with this agreement not only commit to supply machines with the highest quality standard, but also to provide an in-depth theoretical and practical training to the operators. The training courses will be held at the brand-new Oil&Steel Academy, in San Cesario sul Panaro, and at the client’s premises.
